If you were in cali and the NCAA told you cash or championships, what does everyone think about this?? Cali teams dont look like they're going to the cfp anytime soon, so should they take the dollars or what??

I actually think it's worse than those Schools in California Think, they will get sued by the Woman and all the other Sports and want Equal Pay for all of the Sports Teams.
They won't be in any playoffs or Postseason Tournaments.
The Next thing that will happen is They will end up losing games because the other Schools aren't going to go play Teams that are Paying Players and getting better players.

**** em politics fellas... a college education is expensive.. and they do give you a platform to show your skills for the NFL as well... but every football player should have some sort of insurance package n if they do leave early should always be able to come back and finish in the 4 to 5 years allotted.. my opinion on that.. but payment will start more problems... mo money mo problems...

The Problem with Sports Today is the players think they should make more than the Owners and that's just not how the Real World Works..... Those Guys are Billionaires and they employ the players, they are lucky that have let them make as much as they do and that's kinda crazy.
it's really dumb that they give these College kids a Scholarship to go to College for 1 year and they leave for the NBA while that money could be spent on someone that actually needs that Education, what they should do is have these players that get a Scholarship for say Basketball that stay 1 or 2 years and then go to The NBA to make money then they should have 10 Years to get a degree of PAY The Money Back
College Players Should Never Be Paid, they aren't Professionals but I do think these days they should actually be able to get jobs and make some money as long as it's not tied into Sports and Boosters.
I also see all the time about that want to be able to sell their Equipment or jerseys and such and people say they should be allowed to do so, why? it's not theirs to sell....

(That is the essence of communism.... the more talent you have the less you are paid for it.) The players would be the big losers. Today, since the cost of college is obscene, everybody is a loser except the college - what with some professors at big time schools making $350k (or more) a year while only teaching one class (and maybe not that). Students are also leaving school with $100k debts and bullshit degrees like 'Sustainability' - or 'Gender Equity' and such.
