I know it's early but it's looking like there could be a 8-2/7-3 team not making the playoffs in the west. Unlike last year when it was almost a given who the 4 playoff teams would be.

I think people are underestimating how bad the rest of Carroll County outside of Westminster is too. Liberty looks ok too. Pretty decent wins over Saint Paul's and Williamsport.

I really think FSK can go 7-2. They've got 0-3 Century who can't score (WIN), Westminster (LOSS), Manchester Valley who's 2-1 but has only scored 28 points all year (WIN), 0-3 South Carroll who's been outscored 123-26 this season (WIN), Liberty (LOSS), 2-1 Winters Mill who they beat last year (WIN).

Wow! Whats the chance FH gets beat by Friendship, Melbourne and upset by Allegany. I don't think any of those will happen, but they very easily could.

I agree. What happens if Alco loses a game before Homecoming? The loser of Homecoming could be out of the playoffs.

I think the only tragic scenario is if FH gets knocked out by a homecoming loss. Basis what I saw in the recent vid, this team deserves the opportunity to defend its championship status.

In another 'for what it's worth' comment: I don't think Alco deserves to play FH twice again this year - it's not fair to Alco.

Quick thought.....I see 4, yes 4 teams in the 1A west with 9-game schedules. That's all.
