This was a great game. Fort Hill had 26-23 lead in the fourth and took over at it's own 35 yard line. They got three or so first downs and was in Mountain Ridge territory before the Miner defense stiffened and forced a punt. They took over at their own 20 and needed only one play to go 80 yards and get what was the eventual game winning score. Great job JV Miners.

This was an exciting game the whole way. If we get the same on Friday night no one will be disappointed. Patterson at QB is very good. Ridge is set up for the next few years it seems.

I think the most exciting part of what I saw was that the JV team was using the same offense that Varsity uses. For the most part.

That is what needs to happen if possible. It sets those kids up for success when they to Varsity. Instead of having to learn a whole new offense.
