Shake up in the 1A playoffs, Overlea defeated Reginald F. Lewis by a score of 28-12 on the 11th. Overlea used an ineligible player that played football in Virginia all year but transferred to Overlea for the playoffs thus forfeiting the game. Said player transferred out of state from Dunbar to a private school in Virginia then transferred back to Overlea. Reginald F. Lewis now plays Dunbar for their region title. Fort Hill moves down to #2 and Allegany moves down to #5.

A Sun reporter called it out Saturday night after the game. Guess the MPSSAA doesn’t report anything official until the next business day. The head coach really screwed over the rest of his kids by allowing this.
