just in case you missed it

officiating definitely flipped the other way tonight. No argument there.

biggest time of the game for me was after a FH run Alco had a 44-42 lead

Alco missed 2 foul shots, Alco gets the rebound and scores. Big time momentum change there. Then the lid closed on the FH goal.

Alleganys main guy getting his fourth foul early on a technical was not smart. He sat a lot of minutes following. FH definitely played hard and fought back to make it interesting, then Allegany put their starters back in. Lol

Congrats to Alco for repeating as City Champions. Thank God we don't have to hear the officiating excuses like we did every game last season and the first game this year, lol

Well the Officiating in our area is horrible.. The 1st game they favored Alco @ Home then they favored FH @ Home... This shouldn't be happening...

I agree whole heartedely

George Lauder is not walking through that door
There seems to be a common theme re: officiating on these message boards. If FH beats alco in football, there is a huge emphasis on the refs sucking. If Alco beats FH in basketball, the same thing occurs. Perhaps if you are an Alco fan and you complain that the reason you lose homecoming and a playoff game is because of the refs, then you should expect fh fans to complain when they get beat in basketball. fair is fair, and if you can complain then everybody else can complain too. It doesn't change the result, and it probably doesn't make you feel too much better in the end, however, name calling or belittling someone else's opinion is petty, and it doesn't help your argument.

Coach Eirich used to tout his "if you get a technical you sit" rule. It needs to be updated to "if you get a technical you sit, unless the game gets close" rule. He didn't bench ALL the starters after that technical, btw..

But alas, the object is to win the game. And he did.
