MPSSAA BRACKETOLOGY 101

North Chesapeake Math & IT and South Chesapeake Math & IT are the #1 seeds in the 1A South. Both advanced to the next round.

Walkersville beat Damascus 71-69. Damascus was given a technical foul for having too many men on the floor in sweet revenge for Walkersville.

Prince George's County had to put in a new division for all these tiny new schools after they spent a couple years getting trounced by the regular schools. International School at Largo girls lost 60-2 against a 5-15 Lackey team.

Yeah, the scores are bad right now but most of those tiny schools are only a few years old, and some don't even have a 12th grade class yet. I think two years from now it won't be that much of a problem

I wasn't knocking those schools. I think FH beat Hancock like 91-28 so disparity is relevant everywhere. I had just never heard of some of these schools - then to see them the #1 seeds in the 1A South caught me off guard. There's a small handful of these type schools in the west as well like Calvary Christian but they are not MPSSAA schools.

Good to see Turkeyfoot and Paw Paw still field hoops teams though.

In all seriousness, Paw Paw has had a pretty decent season this year. They are 20-7 according to MaxPreps, obviously playing a very Paw Paw appropriate schedule but they've done well.
