I didn't want to start a new thread so this subject title fits what I wanted to talk about.
Really sometimes you have to take a step back and take a look around to see how lucky we are to have these 2 city teams, to have this rivalry, to have these storied programs in the history of MD football both in our city. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. It's why I root for Alco every game but 1. Shame on those that rooted against either school in their big matchups at Greenway this year.
and a point that doesn't get talked about much is how the coaching staffs of both teams are predominantly filled with coaches coaching at their alma mater. It's great.
Enjoy this Saturday while you can, enjoy this rivalry while you can. It won't be around forever.
