Falcons dominated this game. Could this be the best Frankfort team ever? I have to admit, I know very little about Frankfort football. This team is very good though.

Let's not go too far yet. Williamstown was a 1A team that got put into the 2A. They are small, and not very fast. What they do have is a good coaching staff. When Frankfort makes it to the "Big Dance" I'll be more than happy to give them some credit. I believe that it's been about fifty years since they've been there.

This Frankfort team is very good. Will they make it to the State Championship and win it? Who knows. They have a pretty good JV team I believe as well.

Thanks, red&blue, I forgot that they went that far in 2014. Usually, they are out after the second round. It will be fun to watch them down the road. (They may not know how to act, playing most or all of their playoff games at home.) LOL

Williamstown High is about the size of Fort Hill. They are a bigger school than Frankfort.

Having said that, the way WV classifies their schools based on factors other than enrollment is so odd.

Frankfort’s JV only lost to Martinsburg 7-0. Pretty bad JV team by martinsburg standards but impressive still. If Frankfort could’ve kept Twigg they’d be poised for a real run.

Smaller than FH. Talking to a Williamstown parent yesterday. High School has about 350 to 400 students. Williamstown runs grades 6 thru 12. Roughly 100 kids per grade.

Thank you, I thought that Williamstown was small. Their two championships the last two years were in 1A. I do like their coach; he reminds me of the Guy from Moorefield a few years ago. ( Fiedler, I think???) At any rate, he does a good job with what he has.

Gotcha. I was looking at total school enrollment (included the middle schoolers).
