An accusation was made after the Quad that the initial silence and lack of reporting was an indication that Fort Hill fans were deeply concerned.
Well, you know what, the thing is only half over, but I along with seemingly everyone else there will go on record saying the Sentinels are firing on nearly all cylinders, very, very impressive in all 3 phases of the game. Not saying perfect, but damn good. Woodlawn is no North Point, but, wow, solid performance by Fort Hill tonight. They will be ready to play come next Saturday in the Burg.

Wow looked like the team we have come to know and love. Strong, fast, dominating. Even the passimg game looked polished with 2 really good QBs. But yes Woodlawn not at this level.

Watch out for #24 if he picks up this offense? Dang that kid is lightning fast. Way faster than Ty or Brayden was. Give him a gap and he is gone.

JV team also in beast mode. Those are some big dudes who must love the weight room. They dont look like a JV team coming down the steps.

So FH has faced 4 teams thus far and they all ran spread, shot gun, throw it. This is what the football world does now everywhere seemingly except in our own little sleepy redneck mountain town.

I think the big question on the Sentinels right now is what Appel is going to do with the sophomore phenom kicking the ball through the end zone. If he wasn't such a good player and the QB of the JV team it would be the easiest decision in the world. Talk about a WEAPON.

Woodlawn had small amount of players for I think a 3A school. Not very big either. I wish we could've had Tuscarora in this spot like last year.

Brian, sorry but I have to attempt to slow you down on that player being listed in the same sentence as Ty and BB. He MAY be a step faster (IDK?) but it takes much more than that to be a good back. I would like to see him maybe get a longer look at corner. I do agree about the JV team and the spread offense comments.

Forgot to mention the FH DL looking beastly again. They lost THE BEAST Conley but people forget the other 3 starters return and the new starter showed he could run with them tonight. Pretty good FH football family (royalty?) for that kid.

other than the 3 new starters in the secondary that has been discussed numerous times here the Sentinels return 6 of the other 8 starters and add Swan to the mix. You wont find a much tougher, more aggressive pit bull than him. All the focus early will be on the 2 new corners and new safety. That DL will surely help them in the meantime.
