Minus well get the chitter chatter going now. No disrespect to Mountain Ridge or Brunswick.

I think Alco can play, but they need some massive breaks to have a shot. FH too much man for man. Too much speed and too much power. But no running clock.

I went to both games Friday as most of us did. Allegany did not play well at all. They just got their stud back and it will take a couple weeks. FH beat a good Sherando team. It looked like Sherando wore down in the second qtr which was the difference, lineman appeared to be grasping for air. Rhodes will need to be double teamed. Man to man with a safety deep playing center field will not work. They can also run the ball very well. Alco is balanced which makes it tough on the defense.

But also ... congratulations to CUMBERLAND for the competitive nature of our city being able to develop the 2 best teams in the state from one small city! Says a lot about the dedication of our area!!!

Was at both games also Friday, me personally, I saw two different performances. One was" okay ", the other? Well, let's just say" WOW!!!". Will let reader decide which team is which. Didn't mind sitting in the rain, wind, and cold though. [that's a hint]

I have said all year that I believe fh will win homecoming again this year. They are a great team from top to bottom. But with that being said. Allegany can play ball to, so to think they will crush Allegany is delusional. Fh by 14 is my thoughts but with Alco's D and there kicking game. I wouldn't be surprised with a latec4th quarter fieldgoal for the win....LETS GO ALCO

I didn't see the Alco game but I listened to the radio post-game and the Campers coach said this was the worst they played all yr.

Im gonna say FH 35-14 just too stacked!!! Im thinking 21-7 at the half... For Alco to have a chance they gotta control the clock and have long successful drives which is nearly impossible against that defense. We are gonna need some takeaways to make things interesting. If things go the Campers way then maybe we could see a 24-21 upset but I wouldn't bet on it...

FH is a double digit favorite for sure. Been watching these kids since pee wee and I can never recall the west side making it a game. I see FH winning each time they play on the way to 10 straight in this series.

I am not underestimating this Alco team. It's going to be tougher than most expect and I sure don't like having to play twice.

And for the record I don't think FH will destroy Alco. Was only trying to get everyone riled up with some old fashioned red and blue smack talk.

You all have been around long enough to know that it's all about which team shows up, who gets a few breaks here and there, who wants it more! Unless you have played in one of the barn burners it's hard to forget those memories, I played in one of those games, I believe it was 1980something or was it 1990something? Wasn't that a song? hmmmmm?
