Oh wait a minute they both lost tonight to the Big Blue... Good Job Campers dominating 2 previously unbeaten Sentinel teams... Its time to get the broom out Blue!!!!

Yeah I know lol.. Could you imagine all the posts if they had won tonight???

Yeah, in another thread I commented on how impressive Allegany's wins were. Nothing more, nothing less, congrats to the youngins but the big show is Saturday.

Which is ever the more reason to appreciate this FH varsity team for what they are giving the city now. As I have posted before, either school is only a graduating class away from a far different season the following year - evermore important for 1A schools. This is a special FH team and everyone should try to get to as many of their remaining games as possible.

Oh, and congrats to Allegany. Looks like some talent to fill in next year.

A number of FH posters have come on here to give props to Alco on their wins. And although FH did win the first two meetings..Alco was hardly a slouch opponent coming into this game. The Alco JVs only loss was to FH in the first meeting. Alco and FH JVs both finish at 8-1 with their only losses being to each other. FH frosh were unbeaten coming in, but I dont know Alcos record.

Not sure if the frosh game was an upset, but I actually think FH had to come from behind to win the first meeting if Im not mistaken. Looks like two decent underclassmen teams for both schools. Does Alco also have a lot of underclassmen moved up on varsity. I know FH has a few.

Maybe some future parity will be restored.

To be fair and not diminish the wins of the Frosh and JV teams, congrats and enjoy your accomplishments!!!

That's a very misleading headline!!! Really that was kind of messed up.... Guess you're trying to get in your licks while you can...

This current Alco varsity team has played quite different since adding an additional member of the Wharton clan to its coaching staff. Perhaps a coincidence - maybe. The variety of play calling, the crisp blocking of the line, better passing attack with fewer overall errors and general aggressiveness is historically un-Korn-like.

Well the Alco freshmen team had a 12th man on the field. Some terrible calls and ball placements. Wish FH had a school coach that reffed the game too! Seems a little unfair to me.

Once again sounds like help is on the way for alco in the next few years. Homecoming might get close again

Good win alco...

Alco plainly out coached Fort Hill. Fort Hill play calling predictable and the same they've done all year. They needed to mix it up and throw in some of different looks. Hats off to ALCO AND THEIR COACHES! Fort Hills varsity will FINISH THE SEASON UNDEFEATED SATURDAY !!!

Big wins for the underclassmen at allegany, however b.brown,b. poling and r. smith werent on the field. but they will be next year so we will see how it goes then.

FHHS#1...I heard that during the game, but thought it was rumor. Stewart really was reffing?

As far as the Freshman game goes yes I saw several bad or missed calls that didn't go FH's way. You wouldn't think you would have to worry about that between 2 home town teams. The one call I thought was bad was the quarterback for Allegany looked down when he flipped it out to make a crucial first down. After watching it on video it did look like the qb wasn't down thus a good play by Allegany. Regardless both teams have nothing to be ashamed of. Nobody expected the JV to be Undefeated going in to the last game. With being stripped of some great players and key players out most of the year injured, FH JV had a great season. Hats off to Allegany. On the bright side we have some healthy Freshmen getting great game time on Varsity which should pay dividends next year and the years to come.

That's how I saw it as well Green75. Especially the FH JV team. They seemed very unorganized and confused to me. I'm not sure what it was but I've never seen a FH team like that before.

You are serious about this aren't you? I seen someone make this same comment on Facebook last night and all that I could do was laugh. Both Alco teams dominated FH up front. No help from the 12th man with that.

I totally agree BigAlco. It was definitely not what you expect from a Fort Hill team. Nonetheless,Allegany looked crisp, had some great athletes, and seemed very well coached and confident.

Sounds like an excuse to me.

Congratulations to Allegany for winning last night. The game is in the books and Allegany deserves the props. Arguing over things that can't be changed is ridiculous.

Well there has to be an argument or some kind of cheating when Alco defeats FH lol...

Perhaps if some could learn to be humble folks could just be happy for someone's fortune. When there is a lack of class being shown people are more prone to say what they saw as apposed to being happy for a group of Allegany kids who worked hard and had a good season.

Yep, not thrilled about Big Red Nation so publicly blaming the refs, they sound like a bunch of Keyser fans. That being said, in the context of the Fort Hill/Allegany rivalry the concept of "act like you've been there before" goes out the window for the Blue side, because, well, truthfully they haven't been there too many times.

FHHSAHS, yes Chris Stewart was reffing. BigAlco70, I think there is quite a difference in being a grad than being an active coach in basketball and track. I'm not saying the outcome would have been different, I'm just saying it's a little unfair. I think Allegany fans would feel the same way if a FH coach was out there reffing. And if I'm not mistaken, I think Stewart also coached football several years back. Now the JV game was totally different. Alco totally dominated.

I am not sure I agree with Alllegany freshman dominating the FH line. It was a battle back and forth. Both teams did well stopping the run most of the night and QBs were running around a lot. Allegany JV did more than dominate the FH line. One of the more dominating line performances I've seen in a while.

The officiating was fine. Nothing extraordinary and certainly didn't decide the winner

Alas, 'tis sad but true. Through your lips of sarcasm comes unintended truth.

I posted what, 3 or 4 times last night how Alco controlled the JV game...and you pick this one post out to claim I'm making excuses? Geez Louise, man. Lol

Alco dominated the LOS in the JV game, and I'm unaware of any FH linemen moved up..so there is no excuse there. Just asking if both teams had players moved up...or if its a pretty good look at what the future holds for both schools.

I would think Alco fans would be hopeful that parity would be restored.

Allegany fans have had little to brag about and few fans posting here to do the bragging. It takes a little practice to be humble when you have nothing much to be humble about. There is, however, a school across town where opportunities abound - they should be able to give great humble.

Lord, its hard to be humble..when you're perfect in every way. :p

Before y'all flip out..its just a song lyric; for some of you younger people. I keed, I keed.

Red fans ard being pleasant and respectable. That is because they are so confident about Saturdays game, these two will be forgotten. Little do they know Stewart is refereeing Saturdays game LOL. GET THE BROOMS OUT
