FH at Clear Spring set for Thursday 11/14

Because of an issue with officials? It’s the state play offs, surely there should be officials since it’s not a regular season weekend/amount of games. The weather for Thursday looks like rain. Hmmm…

There are only two other Washington County games this weekend (Boonsboro and Williamsport). Not sure how there is a shortage of refs, but whatever.

I've been to Clear Spring's field. Visitor's side has very little seating. The band will use most of it. Plan to stand or take your own chairs. And yes, it is a grass field.

Time to go to Clear Spring and avenge the Hancock team and how they were treated!

LFG! TICK TOCK, WE'RE COMING!

GO BIG RED!

Out of every playoff game taking place this weekend only 3 are being played on Thursday. 2 of the 3 are down state teams so that just furthers the question about the ref shortage

As I have been told, not all referees are eligible to officiate playoff games in the MPSSAA. So, since there is already a shortage of referees, having less games really doesn’t mean much since the eligible pool of referees shrink.

The game could have been played on Saturday, but should they beat Clear Spring I am certain the FH coaches were not interested in a game this Saturday with their next opponent six days later likely being a road trip to Cambridge. The FH coaches weren't born yesterday ;)

the same refs that work in Washington County also work in Eastern Panhandle of WV and Winchester area for the most part, it's kind of a mess. although with WV games canceled it shouldn't have been a problem.
