This is obviously not going to be 100% accurate as they've yet to gather all info on all schools but here's an idea of the 1A West playoff picture for this coming season.

Allegany (8-2)
- Losses: Dunbar, Fort Hill

Boonsboro (9-1)
- Losses: Allegany

Fort Hill (7-2)
- Losses: Melbourne Central Catholic, Friendship Collegiate

Northern Garrett (8-1)
- Losses: Allegany

Catoctin (6-4)
- Losses: Boonsboro, Southern Garrett, Williamsport, Saint Paul's

Southern Garrett (6-4)
- Losses: Allegany, Northern Garrett, East Hardy, Pendleton County

Smithsburg (5-5)
- Losses: Southern Garrett, Catoctin, Northern Garrett, Boonsboro, Delmar

Francis Scott Key (4-5)
- Losses: Century, Westminster, Manchester Valley, South Carroll, Liberty

Brunswick (4-6)
- Losses: Northern Garrett, Boonsboro, Frederick, Berkeley Springs, Smithsburg, Catoctin

Hancock (3-6): Losses: Green St., Capitol Christian, Mt. Carmel, Clear Spring, Brunswick, Berkeley Springs

Mountain Ridge (3-7)
- Losses: Allegany, Fort Hill, Hedgesville, Chestnut Ridge, Northern Garrett, Spring Mills, Keyser

Clear Spring (2-8)
- Losses: St. James, Brunswick, N. Garrett, S. Garrett, Catoctin, Smithsburg, Berkeley Springs, Williamsport

A ton of posters here put so much stock into strength of schedule. But polls, playoff points and championships have absolutely nothing to do with strength of schedule.

I know we could all pick this apart in terms of our opinions. It's probably not too far off. The one I have a problem with is Northern, I just don't see them at 8-1 but that's me. I see 7-2 or 6-3.

Just FYI, Northern had 24 varsity players last year with 17 of them being seniors. Coach Carr does a great job but could possibly be a long year for the Huskies.

I thought so kkram. I agree Coach Carr does a great job but the cupboard may be pretty bare this year. I'll revise to include the possibility of 5-4.

who are we kidding, it doesn't matter what their record is, they aren't getting past fh or alco in the playoffs.
