Allegany /Holidaysburg

Alco wins 31-28. Holidaysburg returns a ton from last year and opened the year with a nice win against Altoona but allegany returns just as much talent and finds another way to win again
I like the enthusiasm for the home team. Definitely not a tune up for a season opener. Hopefully folks come out and enjoy a beautiful evening outdoors at 1 of our most impressive assets. Time for Friday night lights!
Very nice win by the Campers tonight. Should be a great HSFB season in the area.
Allegany was very sloppy, but got the win. They did get around 450 offensive yards.
Very nice opening win for Alco. Two things I think would make Alco better. Get the ball to Fields more often in open space. He can be electrifying he had a nice td run, and a couple of good returns. Hydrate, in the second half at times they had 6 players on the sidelines getting stretched, and rubbed. Some players more than once. Very nice crowd at Greenway.
yes, definitely need to get the ball to Fields. They can’t make mistakes at crucial times. Gave Holidaysburg 3 first downs on penalties 2 were offsides, had a td called back on a penalty and fumbled the ball over on first down deep in Holidaysburg territory. Alco can not make all these mistakes.

I like the observations and analysis but a W is a W. Let's hope they're healthy and have a good week of preparation for Oakdale---they beat Milford Mill yesterday. Tough couple weeks
