Congrats Alco. FH actually broke record for most points scored in a 10 game season this year as well. Two great accomplishments.
The Wills Mountain cloggers could Rush for 650 yards against Brunswick.
Anyone remember that time that kicker for the Wills Mountain Cloggers lined up for the extra point against Paw Paw and in the process of kicking her wooden shoe flew off her foot and struck a Delawder right square in the forehead. If memory serves me correct, that game may have been played in the parking lot of Hobo's Restaurant, or maybe it was next door in the parking lot of the Tri-State (Hyndman) Ministry Center. In any event, I arrived late, I thought the game was up at Moss Cottage.
Great Job with backups and with the running clock 8min qtrs. in the 2nd half. I believe they used 10 ball carriers in that game. It couldve been so much worse. They couldve left the starters in and scored over 100 and 1,000 yds rushing...
Ok like I said before the year got started. We are not a good team. But come on enough with the stats I give the Brunswick boys a lot of credit for being a total ninth and 10th grade team with just two seniors and six juniors. So taking nothing away from the great FH team and Allegheny team. I will still stand Bahind myrailroaders and all this talkon this board is ridiculous. For a team that has taken a beating like these kids have I give them all the respect in the world remember what I said in the beginning of the year that this is a very young team and a very very new coaching staff there is no need to reply to this just setting something straight and letting you all know you beat a bunch of ninth and 10th graders so feel very proud of that. And yes thank the FH And allegheny coaches for pulling up which could've been a much much worse score
Enough of what stats? The only stat being discussed was the amount of rushing yards. I dont think anyone is disparaging Brunswick for the sake of making them look bad. Anyone in MD 1A who schedules both FH and Alco...or even one of them, for that matter...has my respect.
Not just you all. I was just saying Brunswick football is in turmoil. Our program is just that bad. We have 24 kids and that is counting 9th through 12th. As an alumni, I just shake my head to see the program go that bad. I don't want to disrespect anybody and that's not why am coming on the board. You all talking about the rushing stat being a great accomplishment, I do agree, but it was just against a 9th and 10th grade team. Seeing it posted once is OK but to see it on a couple other posts is a bit much.

I think we all respect Brunswick for playing both Allegany and FH as someone else stated no other 1A teams in MD will neither will many local teams. I havent heard anything bad about Brunswick or anyone putting them down. Rairoader 85, who are you pulling for to win the 1A title?
Other than taking a knee on every snap in the second half I don't know what Alco could do. Allegany's back up running backs happen to be quite fast and once past the Line they just took off.
Cumbfanatic - I will still be pulling for one of the 1a west teams. Always have.
Lagmeister - I was at the game and I respect the Allegany coaches and players for not purposely running up the score. I saw that they were doing all they could to not purposely run up the score. I have followed Fort Hill football even when you went down to play Dunbar and cheered for Fort Hill. I've just seen a couple of posts on here where they were making fun of Brunswick a bit and I just wanted to come on and defend them.
