Okay, So today is Fort Hill film day for myself. Haven't got a chance to see any film on them up to this point. So I'm a little excited to see what to expect. Couple notes from ECP the last 2 weeks. St. Ed's dominated ECP on both sides of the line. This is the smallest the O/D-Line has been in years at ECP. They are athletic, fundamentally sound, just not as big as past teams. The weather in the St. Ed's game really changed the game plans for both teams in my opinion. There was a consistent super strong wind all night with some gust that made passing near impossible. This was a great high school football game that absolutely could of went either way. 21-14 loss for ECP. St Ed's is currently ranked #29 in the Country.
ECP vs Benidictine-I'm not even sure where to start with this game. As always just my opinion. I feel like the team didn't come out ready to play. They beat up on Beni the last 2 years (2017-62-28 ECP, 2018-66-39 ECP) and I think they where expecting the same. However things didn't go as planned. ECP couldn't stop the Beni offense, slowed them down a couple times, but that was about it. ECP gave up 45pts (Most this season to date). This is the first time in a very, very, very long time, I feel like ECP coaching staff was out schemed. Beni coaching staff did a great job on the offensive play calling. They had ECP players running all over the field, tired them out a little, then gashed them for a big plays. ECP QB play was a little suspect and the O-Line had trouble picking up multiple blitzes. I'm not really sure what the deal was with the team last week, but I feel like they just didn't play very good football and it showed. Some highlights:

Looking forward to this game. Rumor around Erie is this game was set up by a new coach on the ECP coaching staff. ECP had holes to fill and Preps head coach said they would play anyone. The new coach on staff had the connections to make this game happen. I hopeful that this match-up can continue forward for years to come.
