We can discuss, opine, and argue about the reasoning for a FH versus Frankfort game every year. My thought is we keep forgetting the # 1 reason. The players want to play. It's their game. Right? Being an oldtime Bishop Walsh/ LaSalle guy, our all time record against FH is 9-54-1. Many of those games were a real ass kicking. Ask any player from any of those 64 teams if they wanted to continue to play FH every year. The answer would be a unanimous yes. Same with today's teams, my guess is that all 70 or so players from both teams would play that game on a sandlot tomorrow if allowed. Maybe we need to stop worrying about all the possible implications and just let the kids do what they want, play each other. It's still their game, not ours. Just one man's opinion. BTW, a little trivia only two schools have defeated FH more than Bishop Walsh who did it 8 times. Of course everyone knows Alco is one. Who is the other?
