Unfortunately, the handwriting is on the wall. We here in Western Maryland and Mineral Counties have pretty much stayed out of the virus path so to speak. Our numbers were seemingly low compared to everyone else and surrounding states. However, the "Chicken have come home to roost," and now its our turn in the barrel of sickness. Yes some people over do it and some under do it. It is what it is and its here to stay for many more months. Even next year as it pertains to high school sports is still in the "iffy" column.
I know most people will hate to hear this, but we have to get it under control first before we proceed. Remember, West Virginia was miles ahead of the nation is control of the virus. Reopening and getting kids back to school and so on, And like Maryland, we all have to regress backward again. I love high school sports as much as the next person, but at what cost! Do we pay for now or pay it later.
