Annapolis Area Christian tight end Jarrett Heckert
Camps
"For college camps, I'm going to Maryland, Virginia, Northwestern, Holy Cross, Yale William and Mary, Delaware, Liberty, and I think that is it."
Recruiting
"It has been a wide variety of FBS and FCS schools. I have heard a lot from Delaware and Liberty. There have also been five or six Ivy League schools with Yale, Columbia, and Brown contacting me a lot. Yale came down to my school. I also have a lot from the Patriot League with schools like Holy Cross and Lafayette coming to my school. I just got my first offer from a Division II school, West Virginia Wesleyan. It was exciting to see something on the board."
Thoughts on the offer
"It was definitely huge. It was almost like a burden lifted off of me. I've been working so hard to be able to make my parents not have to pay for college is a relief and I can play four more years of football after this year. I love the coaches there and they are really good guys."
Schools recruiting the hardest
"I would guess collectively Yale, Brown, Holy Cross, Liberty, and Delaware. It is those guys."
