a different ball game when the lines and physicality come into play. They talked a lot beating FH in 7 on 7 and took the long ride home tonight.
Brayden Brown is twice the player he was a year ago. His physical presence is like a whole new guy. We knew he could fly but wow. He's one big muscle like a race horse.
FH scored first possession on about a 50 yard TD run by Brown. Then he goes for 50 yard pick six like 5 plays later. Tuscarora is very legit playing in a super region. Great skill players. But they got smacked around in the first half with the first team units. FH defense is just plain nasty, strong and fast. SomeoNE told me their RB was committed to Towson. He was pretty good.

Have to agree. The 3A west is nasty. FH, this year could play in the 3A west and compete. I saw it tonight. FH is a very good football team by any standard. 21 looks really good along with the usual young men. An added threat.
If FH was ever to pick up an opponent on the super heavy side like a private power or Class 4A power, this would have been the year to do it. Possibly Coach Appel's best team. They're deep.
Alco will scrimmage Smithsburg tonight at 7:00 at Greenway. It will be my first chance to see them. Looking forward to it. Wish I could have a slice of pizza though
