The reason is Allegany's not that good. Everyone talks about how much they improved after getting curb stomped in Keyser. The fact is the 5 teams records that they played between Keyser and Fort Hill was an impressive 9-36. How can anyone claim great improvement playing a garbage schedule like that. If you take out Northern's 6-4 the other 4 teams were a combined 3-32 lol. I get a good laugh every time i read Alco fans on here talking about Fort Hill's schedule. The 8 teams Ft. Hill beat were 43-30 while the 8 teams Alco beat were 24-50. Enough said

I havent seen anyone on here downing FH's schedule this yr. or comparing schedules.. Yeah both fan bases may joke when the other faces a cupcake but no real smack talk. In fact couple of us Alco fans have pointed out that its hard to tell how good we are with the weak schedule. Alco just beat a 10-0 team so they cant suck too bad. They held Fort Hill's explosive offense to 1 offensive td. How many teams that suck can do that? I dont think the Campers are better than FH but Im pretty sure they dont suck either.
The last two years FH had an easy road to the Bank. I personally think the State Campionship will be played at Greenway Friday night !
Where in my post did i say Allegany sucks? I did'nt. I said they aren't that good. There's a big difference in saying someones not very good and saying they suck. Allegany hasn't beaten a good team all year and anyone who argues that fact clearly hasn't got a clue. Allegany has some size but they're not very strong. They have no speed and from the game i saw them play not much heart. You can talk about their great defense all you want but i saw that defense give up 523 yards and 42 points to Keyser (it should have been 63 or 70) while Alco's offense rolled up the grand total of 128 yards.You Alco fans live in this fantasy land where Alco is still Alco from the past. Alco's glory days are merely a distant memory now

Over the years we have even seen trolls enter a thread with multiple forum names and take opposite sides of an issue just to create as much conflict as possible. It works here because of the rivalry. Generally, it is fairly easy to spot.

Oh, thanks That was my first post. A long time ago, I was laker without the 77. I forgot my password over the time I hadn't been on the board so I started over.
I'd like to reiterate the post someone else listed above...the undefeated, number 2 seed Warriors were at home against a 3 seed 8-2 Alco. By all accounts, Alco pulled the upset. Boonsboro is who struggled.
I suggest folks watch the commercial vid that is now available. I have as positive an impression of this team as I did after the FH game.
