Fh on the season
593-188 points scored vs points scored on.
For avg 49.41 a game
Catoctin
503-176
For Avg 41.91 a game.

This is gonna be a good one to watch either way .
And for as much as people not wanting Togo because the the seats and parking , I say we all go and just support both time and have a good time. What ever the outcome I will want one of those two teams to win the state ring.

Something about a shuttle is all I heard, but the announcement Catoctin had today sound pretty inviting to me. My thing is who cares get you ass down there or there where ever you’re from and just watch some good football!

Making it sound miserable so FH fans won’t show-up. Saying you have to park far away, no shuttle, you have to walk down and sit on a steep hill, no bleachers. Trying to make it sound like a terrible evening to keep FH ppl away. Hopefully it doesn’t work and they all show-up

The Fort Hill Dunbar game in 2010 was pretty miserable but still had a really good turn out one-sided just like this one parking was horrible the facility wasn’t the best we had to get dressed inside of the janitors room all 50 of us. Then walk around and through the school to get to the other closest we had for half time. Hahaha good times ... yes we did lose. But still a great time for us. We were laughing so hard at the fact we were stuck in a janitors closet that was about 24‘ x 24‘ your average size garage with all players coaches equipment bags don’t forget all the janitors equipment for the school haha I’m literally laughing at the fact of all of us playing with the mop while getting dressed.

Apparently they have never experienced the crowds at the annual Fort Hill-Allegany homecoming game. A good walk comes with the territory

And the victim complex gets perpetuated yet again.

I ask this respectfully...where are you going to park? How quick will the lot at the school fill up and then what do you recommend? Thanks.
I just google earth it there is more then 150 parking more like 250-350 and some glass around them. And a few soccer fields which should be used. Sheetz and Burgerking close by fh fans we will be fine!!!

People tend to park wherever they can. What I mean by that is in the grass around the parking lot as well. Honestly, I'm not afraid to admit I dont know everything, but I never recall a shuttle service for games.

I've said it before that parking will be the biggest challenge. I'm not sure what the best option is, I'm really not. I have two kids, I dont say that for needing a good spot, but that I'm always late lol. The past two games I've just kind of squeezed in wherever I could without blocking anyone in.

It might be that 150 figure is what will be available to the public. The others reserved for faculty, students, etc.

I could be wrong, but there isn't anything reserved for students and faculty. Yes it's where they park during school hours but student or faculty doesn't matter for after school activity. Not to mention there is no school Friday so they won't be there.

I agree with you. Some of us fh people get worked up to fast! People we will be fine. All of us . Both side with have plenty of room in my opinion ! Plus it’s gonna be in the 30-40s

its gonna be a great night for a game. 46 degrees...1000+ FH fans! FH 27-Catoctin 12

I am amazed at the number of Fort Hill fans that think Fort Hills defense will hold Catoctin to only two touchdowns. Williamsport and Brunswick scored three touchdowns against FH and Catoctin killed both of them. I hope they are right but I don’t see Fort hill being able to stop them unless Catoctin makes mistakes If Fort hill can hold them to two touchdowns it will be a blowout

First, I think it will be a good game, but I still believe FH is two touchdowns better.

Secondly, let's look at some scores of common opponents throughout the season.

FH beat Mountain Ridge 56-7 in week #1.

Catoctin beat Mountain Ridge 43-0 in week #2.

Catoctin beat Southern 46-21 in week #5.

FH beat Southern 55-0 in week #6.

Catoctin beat Williamsport 49-6 in week #8.

FH beat Williamsport 64-22 in week #11.

Catoctin beat Brunswick 49-28 in week #9.

FH beat Brunswick 35-21 in week #10.

Against common opponents, FH's average score was 52.5, and the Sentinels' average opponents' score was 12.5.

Against common opponents, Catoctin's average score was 46.75, and the Cougars' average opponents' score was 13.75.

If I throw in the second game Catoctin played against Southern in week #10, than the average of the two games would be 49.5-13.5.

When figured into the cumulative average, Catoction averaged 47.625 points per game, and their opponents averaged 11.875 points per game.

FH averaged about 5 more points per game against common opponents, and Catoction gave up either one point more or one point less per game against common opponents depending on if you only count them playing Southern once or twice.

Based on those averages against common opponents, FH is a 3-4 point favorite.

Calpreps currently has FH 38 - Catoctin 35.

It will be a good game.

For those who attend, win or lose, please show good sportsmanship.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!

Also Posted from a Catoctin Fan!!

“The visitor locker room was embarrassing, “It was kind of even scary. Dungeon-like. They lower the lights on the visitors side of the field to make it harder for the coaches to read their clipboards. But there is a more visceral part of playing Fort Hill in the environment that is Greenway Avenue Stadium. The venerable home field, just off the back of the school, doubles as a football torture chamber. Just the imagery surrounding the venue is easily worth 14 points to the home team."

Even though when they played FH it was a Day Game at Greenway, I'm guessing when they got ran over it just felt like their lights were out

This is BS, they beat Dunbar at home and they won a state championship, both of those are bigger than a semifinal against FH..this yahoo doesn't know what they are talking about.
In all honesty. The expected crowd and all the lead up probably makes this a bigger deal to them then either of those were. Also, what in the **** is "trick lighting" that game last year was played on a Saturday afternoon

Exactly, this is silly stuff from fans. Nothing to do with the Catoctin program or the game. The original comment was deleted. FH fans are predictably going overboard re-posting it 100 times on Facebook, lol.
