Question for Todd Helmick

How is Alco's schedule for next year shaping up? Which teams have they contacted? I see a lot of same open dates on the Maryland and WV sites. Thanks.

Both FH and Alco working on finding a Week 1 game. The rest if filled. I know this is going to create too many questions but it's not my right to post the Alco or FH schedule until their coaches let their players know first. I can tell you Alco lost Towson, St. Charles and Southern.

That philosophy always baffles me. Can't notify the public of scheduled games until the next of kin is notified, like someone has died. You are one of the schedule makers or guys that makes the contacts. High school sports is funded by local support and public tax dollars. And as I said before, it's not going to make a player quit if he finds out the scheduled opponents prior to his coach informing him. The players will play if it is Northern or Dematha.

Keyser has a challenging schedule, just a few being defending champs Bridgeport, a playoff rematch Robert Byrd, Clearfield, PA, FH, their homecoming is Alco.
