How did the high school football season go overall?
“We didn’t have the season we wanted this year, but the team consisted of a lot of young players with a bright future, so we have to be ready for improvement in future.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’m playing basketball now while still lifting. When the basketball season is over, it’ll be time to go hard in the gym and gain the weight. I’ll be doing that with team workouts and a little extra on side.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“My skillset, for the most part. I have the size. I just have to improve on the skill for DE and TE. I have to improve on the little things you could say.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we’re definitely going to have a better season next year, as we were a young team this year and having that experience carry over will be big. The team is also going to be doing team workouts all year. A big thing for us is getting stronger so that will be good too.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The toughest competition we will have to play next year will probably be QO. It is the first game on our schedule, and we want to make it competitive next year. We got blown out completely this year, but the plan for next year is to give them some competition. Who cares how many D1, we just got to bring it and play.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’m not sure if I want to play in college. If the opportunity arises, I’ll have to decide.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No colleges have been recruiting me yet. For that, I need to get bigger. My goal is 215 pounds by next season. I’m 195 pounds now and also will try to improve on skill and technique.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I plan to head to a couple camps this summer.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up is Maryland and still is.”
