How has the football season been going this fall for your team?
“I think this year has been going really well. We are a really young team that is almost half composed of sophomores that were on JV last year. We are doing extremely well considering it is a young team.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Churchill?
“We’ll treat it like any other game but it means a lot to us. We’ll never like them and they’ll never like us. We have to have intensity in practice because you never want to lose a rivalry game. It’ll be amped up so we have to stay focused during the week.”
Do they have any top players that stand out on their team?
“I know they have a receiver that is pretty athletic. Their quarterback is pretty good. He is a more of a dual threat and is pretty fast.”
What are the keys to a victory in this game and beyond?
“I think honestly it will be who brings more effort. We have to be able to stop them on defense and score at will on offense. When we score early, other teams have given up. Our offense and defense really feed off of each other.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“Yeah, my goal is to play college football. That has been my goal for a while.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve had two schools. The first is Lehigh. They saw me play at Maryland camp. Their coach gave me his card and I contacted him after. Recently I’ve been talking to Bucknell. Those have been the ones recruiting me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not yet. I planned on trying to take a look at some of the colleges that have been interested in me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I think Delaware would be a good school because my father went there. I haven't heard anything from them but I hope that they can evaluate me and pick up interest in me.”
