What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I train Monday through Thursday with my high school team working on strength and conditioning and learning the playbook on offense and defense, doing 7v7 and 1v1 reps and individual drills. I work out at home on Friday and Saturday and work on my core strength on my own. Then I train Sunday’s with my DB trainer, Juleon, working on my footwork and techniques as a DB with multiple drills for 2 hours.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel I have improved on my confidence, footwork, and technique as a DB.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I’m trying to improve on my footwork, explosiveness out my breaks, and ball skills.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel my team will have a good and winning season. Last year left us with a bad taste in our mouths so we’re seeking for a comeback season and we’re ready to shock the county.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel Potomac High School will be our toughest competition this season.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“For our season opener, we play Kent Island. I’m not too familiar with the school, but I feel like it will be a good game as far as competition and it will show us where we stand as a team.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play football and run track in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“James Madison, Fordham, Temple, Liberty, Pittsburgh, and a list of other D1, D2, and D3 colleges have been recruiting me.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“James Madison has been recruiting me the hardest.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I visited James Madison on a Junior Day and a Spring Game visit in April.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan to go on unofficial and official visits in the future before picking the school of my choice I plan to attend.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I have been to Frostburg State, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, and Liberty camps so far. I plan to attend Temple, Fordham, and James Madison camps as well and maybe some others in July.”
