What were your initial thoughts when the football season was postponed until the spring?
“It was upsetting but I thought of it as a chance to get in the gym and get bigger and stronger to make a better impact on the field.”
What are your workout plans at this point going forward?
“I've been going to the gym 5-6 times a week and have been working on my footwork and ball handling skills.”
What are you trying to improve on the most at this point?
“I've been trying to get my weight up to be more confident on the field and have been working to get faster.”
How do you believe your high school team will be for this upcoming season?
“I feel like we are going to have a great season. We've made sure everyone has been working out and our coaches make sure we are learning our plays. Once or twice a week, we all try to get together to pass the ball some and go over some plays.”
What areas do you feel will be keys to having a successful run during the season?
“I think an important factor to us having a successful season is truly learning and knowing our plays and knowing how to run them.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play football in college. My dream has always been to play D1 football since I was a kid.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, but I know definitely after this season I will have some colleges wanting me because I've been working so hard and I'm confident I can make it happen.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up has always been Maryland because I'm from Maryland and it would be a dream come true to play college football for them.”
