What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Mostly working out at home. I have a decent home gym that I can use to stay in shape. I also go outside a little bit to run some drills with my older brother.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Playing in man coverage. It's not something I had to do a lot of, but I want to be a player my coaches can use in all situations. I also been working on reading and recognizing different route combinations.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Everything. I'm a competitive player and I always feel I could be better at something, so I continue to work on all aspects of my game.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Before things started shutting down, I was doing some sessions at Athletic Republic and having practices with their 7 on 7 team. I was learning a lot and this shutdown slowed down the competitive style training that I like.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“We have some good teams on our schedule that I'm looking forward to playing. I believe we will finish with a second MIAA B Championship.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Spaulding. I was excited when I found out they were on our schedule so I'm definitely looking forward to it.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I watch film more than individual players. I understand who we have to focus on each game, but our coaches do a good job of making sure we understand the schemes that the other team are running, which helps.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, football and track.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Boston College, UMASS, and Rutgers.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, Rutgers twice for a spring practice and a game. Also, the University of Maryland twice for a spring practice and a game.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I currently do not have any trips planned.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I was invited to The Show which will be at IMG Academy, but I'm not sure if travel will be safe at that time. The only other camps I wanted to do was for colleges unless I get invited to a Rivals camp or something like that.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“The University of Florida.”
