What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Currently, I have been taking runs outside and trying to do a lot of pushups as well as practicing footwork.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I would say I have improved the most on my strength and my footwork. I have been working hard to make sure my footwork is always getting better because that’s always something that can get better.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I want to improve on my technique and just getting better.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“COVID-19 closed all gyms. However, I still have been able to work around by doing workouts at my house.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think this season will be a significant improvement from last year. All of my coaches are great, and I feel that with Kylen and Scott both coming back. We will be better because we all have more experience. I am personally hoping for a run at the playoffs or even winning the championship. I am extremely confident with all of my guys and coaches around me.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“From what I have heard and seen, I would say Palloti or Concordia Prep. Both teams have a lot of great returning talent as well as some good coaches.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I would say Roman Hemby from John Carroll. He is a great RB and can change a game in a matter of seconds.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play football in college. I would also want to do shotput and discus, but I need to improve my numbers.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t received any interest yet, but I have been talking to many coaches about the college itself.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t gone on any visits, but I am hopeful that I’ll be able to this summer and late spring.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I am planning to go on a visit with a couple of my teammates to colleges this summer.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I’ll be attending the UA Camp, the Rivals combine, as well as some outside of Maryland.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“As a kid, I liked Ohio State because of JT Barrett and they were also really good every year.”
