How has the preparation been going for this upcoming season?
“Preparation for this season came down to the details. Footwork, hands, anything I could do to improve my game I was invested in.”
What are your goals for the season?
“My goals are synonymous to team goals. Looking into the season, we want to win game one and go from there. At the end of the day, playoffs is where we want to be.”
What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“We can always improve upon our game and quite frankly just doing our individual jobs and being successful.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“C. Milton Wright. I believe it's a winnable game and if we prepare right, there's no reason we shouldn't be able to execute and come out with a win.”
Who do you feel is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“Nate Kent, but he is well surpassed if we see Damascus in the postseason.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Frostburg State and Wheeling Jesuit predominately.”
Have any colleges offered you?
“No offers at the moment.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I've made trips to Towson, Delaware, and Lafayette.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan on visiting Frostburg State and Wheeling Jesuit. I will be attending the Frostburg/Wheeling game this fall.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I camped at Towson and Delaware. I feel like both were productive.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up
“I grew up watching McDaniel football as both my uncles played ball there. Watching Oregon run a high intensity offense when Marcus Mariota was leading the team with Deforest Buckner dominating O-Line's was where I really enjoyed watching.”
