How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall, we had a great season. We finished 9-4 being the 2A regional champs but we were one game short from our goal which is the state championship.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“As of right now I have been in the weight room all winter long getting stronger, bigger, eating healthy, and getting ready for the season. When the spring hits, I will be running outdoor track to improve my speed and agility.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a player, I am trying to improve my mental toughness. Being mentally strong is important because it helps you prosper through bad situations. If you make a bad play and your mind is strong, you can get through these situations and bounce back.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Next season we will do great. We are working and striving for greatness. We have been to the semifinals for two years straight and have failed to get to the big one. We have been working hard so that we can win it all this year. We have a lot of key players from last year that are coming back for another year.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“To be honest, I really don’t think anyone will be able to keep up with us this season, but if I would have to choose our toughest competition for next year will have to be Milford Mill. Last year, it was very short losing 12-14 in a very intense game. We’ll be seeking vengeance next time.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“When I go to college, I will be playing football. I have been playing this game for three years and counting, but I have fallen in love with the game so quick and I don’t know what I will be doing without it.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of now, I have been trying to sell myself to many different colleges as possible. Some are interested, but they are waiting until they are finish the 2020 class until going on the 2021 class.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I have been to two visits at Bowie State and Morgan State. I will be attending more this spring/summer.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, growing up my dream was to attend the University of Maryland.”
