What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Before we got out onto the field, we were indoors doing strength and conditioning training and I really have just been trying to get bigger and faster to bulk up my body a little more and put some weight on.”


What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“feel that I have improved on my play recognition and my ability to track the ball.”


What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I’m improving my coverage. I just want to be a versatile linebacker, while being able to cover and make the open field tackles.”


How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Our team is looking really good. We have a lot of great pieces and we’re only getting better and better every day, so I think we will do great this season.”


Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel like Friendship Collegiate will be a very tough game this year because that is a game that we play every year and we are so familiar with each other, but you can never sleep on nobody. We will be fully prepared.”


Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We open up our season with Imani Christian Academy in Pittsburgh. I feel like it is going to be a good matchup, but we have a real strong built team and can compete with anyone you put on the field.”


Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I plan on continuing my football career when I get to college.”


What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been offered by Toledo, UMASS, and Rutgers.”


Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been on a couple of college tours with my coach and a few of my teammates.”


Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan on visiting Rutgers very soon after 7 on 7 competitions are over with.”


What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I haven’t planned on going to any camps this summer.”


Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“No, I didn’t really have a favorite college growing up. I just admired certain players.”
