What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been maintaining my strength and conditioning regimen. This includes lots of running and plyometric training.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel I have improved my footwork and speed the most since last fall.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I mostly want to improve the non-statistical things, like my route recognition, hand speed, and upper body strength.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Covid-19 has only changed the amount of people I work out with. We have a home gym and I have space to train in my yard.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel my team is in the position to do great this upcoming season. I know we are all putting in the work necessary, and we meet with each other, virtually, every single day. Whether that is getting the playbooks down or just having conversation, my team has all potential to go undefeated and pickup scholarship offers, which is the ultimate goal.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Bullis School.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“Christian Veilleux, the quarterback from Bullis School.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“My goal is to be a dual-sport athlete, playing both Lacrosse in the spring and football in the fall.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have four offers from Temple, Marshall, Towson and Morgan State for football. I have had correspondence with High Point University and some D2/D3 schools including an offer from Cairn University for Lacrosse.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes. Due to Covid-19 and school closures, I will have to take a wait and see approach on when it’s appropriate to visit schools in person.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“Rutgers, UNC in Chapel Hill, High Point, Albany, and Navy.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My grandfathers were in the armed forces with Army and Navy. I did grow up following USNA football and lacrosse teams.”
