What were your initial thoughts when the football season was postponed until the spring?
“It hurt me to find out that our season got postponed until next year and we won’t have a spring season. During the off-season as a team we have been working hard chasing the goal of achieving a championship ever since we fell short last season.”
What are your workout plans at this point going forward?
“We recently got a new defensive line coach by the name of Dan Yarbrough and I love working with him. Every time I work out with him, he doesn’t expect anything less than perfection.”
What are you trying to improve on the most at this point?
“I have a lot to improve on such as how fast I get off the ball and pass rush. But I have great people surrounding me who love to work hard and get better every day like Dani Dennis-Sutton who is like a big brother to me. Then you have Tamarus Walker and Antonio Tripp who are my brothers and we always compete during practice trying to make each other better every day.”
How do you believe your high school team will be for this upcoming season?
“This upcoming season we will be ready to go and achieve the goal of getting the championship, which we unfortunately fell short of last year. We also have a lot of great freshmen who are hungry for an opportunity to play under the lights and feel the animosity in the air on a Friday night.”
What sport do you want to play at the college level?
“In college I want to play the game I love and have been playing my whole life, which is football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Some schools have reached out but the main school that has been looking at me is Penn State, but I’m open to any and every school.”
Have any colleges offered you?
“I haven’t been offered yet.”
What colleges are you trying to visit this fall?
“I can’t visit any schools this fall due to COVID-19.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite school growing up was Georgia because I loved their jerseys.”
