“I think it has been going great. We are 8-1 right now and last weekend we clinched a share of the conference championship. It has been a record season for Landon. We had big expectations and we are fulfilling them.”
What do you know about your next opponent in St. Albans?
“I know they are having a down year and that they are last in the conference now, but we can’t overlook them. It is our last game. It is a rivalry game and they will be ready to play with us.”
When did the Army offer come?
“They came to the school last Monday. He got my number and said they really liked me. That night, he called me and offered me on the phone.”
What did the scholarship mean to you?
“I really appreciated it. It was the first DI offer and I just really respect someone for recognizing my talent. Hopefully more will come.”
Who else is interested as well?
“Virginia Tech, Pitt, Rutgers, Duke, Northwestern, UNC a little bit, and schools like that are showing interest.”
What colleges have you visited this fall?
“I went to Maryland and Rutgers for game day visits. I don’t have anything else planned but I’ll be doing junior days and college visits during the winter.”
