How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall, I think it went well. We lost a lot of senior players during the previous season, which we knew would impact the team, but we pulled together to maximize our talents and finished third in the IAC.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Right now, my focus is staying conditioned and in shape. I’m fine tuning some mechanics related to speed and weight training with my trainer Mac James at Future of Fitness.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“My focus this off season is definitely break-away speed. I’m a good downhill runner for sure, but it’s time to showcase more of what I can do after breaking tackles.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think my team will remain one of the top 3 programs in the IAC. Our program may not be as big as some others, but our guys are talented, tough and gritty. Teams looking for an easy game won’t find one at Landon.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“As in years year’s, schools like Georgetown Prep and Bullis have always been competitive. I expect no difference this year and we’re prepared to battle it out.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I definitely plan to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Some of the schools that have expressed interest include Princeton, Dartmouth, Columbia, and Middlebury.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest
“Right now, these schools are interested in seeing more of me in person and in pads. I’m looking forward to the opportunity this spring and summer.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve made several college trips, mostly to the Ivies, but also to schools like Villanova, the University of Washington and Fordham.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I plan to revisit each of the schools in order to best fit my academic and athletic interests this spring and summer. It’s got to be the right fit for me both ways.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, the University of Maryland.”
