“It is just going as we planned it should be going. We are playing in the state semifinals. We planned on getting to the state championship next week.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Fort Hill?
“I know that they are the four-time defending state champs in 1A. That in itself tells a lot about their program and how hard they work every year. We work just as well, and we are up for the challenge. They are a heavy power trap team on offense like we are. Defensively, I am not completely sure. I think they run a 4-3. It’ll be a mirror playing against us on offense.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“It will be a game in the trenches. Whoever wins the trenches will probably win the game.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Mostly, I am considering Georgetown, Howard, Morgan State, and Fordham is in the mix. There are some other smaller schools like Stone Hill and programs like that in the mix.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d probably say Georgetown. I really like their school a lot both academically and athletically.”

“Oh yeah, I went to Georgetown during the season, Howard, Morgan State, and Delaware State.”
