How did the high school football season go overall?
“My high school season went fairly well my junior season. I was in the starting rotation and made some good highlights. I feel like I could’ve done better in some areas, however.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans with sports and workouts consist of a lot of off-season training, all to work towards my goals of playing college football. I am training to be the strongest and most physical defensive end in not only my county but the state, as that is the current goal.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I want to work more on my hands because I made most of my plays relying on my strength. If I had better hand technique, I feel it would better my performance tremendously.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think my team is looking very solid and that we stand a high chance of going undefeated in our regular season. There are still aspects that need to be worked on at the moment, however. As a leader on the team, I am willing to push myself and my teammates to do whatever is necessary to improve.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The biggest competition we are going to face next season will have to be Glenelg. They beat us pretty badly this season and then they went all the way to states completely undefeated until their loss in the state championship. They’re going to be a really good game, but I’ve been working, and all of my teammates have been working to make sure we don’t suffer another loss again next season. We all have one singular thing on our mind and that’s states.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play sports in college. It is my absolute goal and dream to one day be given the opportunity to play college football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“At the moment, I haven’t received any official offers, but some schools like Marian University and Stevenson have asked me to keep in touch with them throughout my high school career.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“As far as college trips, I’ve only been going to camps that are either one day camps or overnight camps so I can meet the coaches and get a better feeling of each schools ball club and how the coaching staff works with players.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have more camps scheduled, but I would really love to visit Clemson and Penn State. Clemson is my dream school and everything I do is to better myself to get there.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite colleges have always been Clemson and Penn State. They’re just both two really strong football programs and really carry a certain kind of swagger when you hear their name because of the name they both have made for themselves.”
