What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“With off season workouts, me and a couple of my teammates would go out to a field get some competition and some drills going. We would condition and do team CrossFit work outs in a zoom call.”
What are your goals for the season?
“My goal for the season are to get my seniors in the class of 2021 a state championship ring. I want us to perform at our best and play as a team the whole season. We need to step up our game for playoffs in order to go all the way and play for a ring.”
What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“The area my team needs to improve is chemistry. We have a lot of young guys coming up to get some of their first varsity minutes, so I think if we can connect and talk as a team we will improve very well before our first game.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“I do not have my scheduled of now.”
How has Covid factored into your off-season workouts?
“COVID affected the off season because sometimes we couldn’t get any kids to come or we would have a really small group. Some parents did not want to take the risk, so we had to wait on team activity.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel my team can really perform this year. We have a lot of younger guys that need to prepare and get ready for the competition on the varsity level.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“As for the Harco teams, I believe Edgewood will be our toughest competition. They have a lot of athleticism and just some plain good football players. It will be a game to watch.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I think Jaheim Wilson-Jones from Aberdeen will be the best individual player we will face. He is very athletic and skilled and just an all-around player.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I do want to play college football.”

“Yes, my favorite college growing up was Towson. My sister went there, and it was really the first college I ever really knew.”
