How did the high school football season go overall?
“Our high school season started off great with a scrimmage against McDonough and a win against Crossland. The next two games after that were hard losses.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I plan on getting stronger and gaining weight. My target for weight gain is 235-240 pounds. I'm 217 pounds right now, but that's isn't going to stop me. I don't think it will be that hard. With the Quarantine going on right now, I can work on my cardio and core at home with some other exercises.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I need to work on my hands, explosiveness, and adding new pass rush moves to my arsenal.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Honestly, we all need to put in more hard work and dedication. We all do it during the season, but the off-season is important as well. If we can get everyone together working hard, we will have the best season since 1981.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Our toughest competition is going to between North Point, Huntingtown, and St. Charles.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I definitely want to go to college and play football. My top three colleges I'm interested in are James Madison University, Towson, and the University of Pittsburgh.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I'm not sure. I've gotten into contact with a few Division 2 and 3 schools. I've gotten transcript requests from Yale and Princeton along with camp invites and questionnaires from Stony Brook, Holy Cross, Delaware, Alvernia, and Middlebury College.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I wanted to visit some colleges this month, but because of the quarantine, that's out of the question.”
