How did the football season go for your team?
“Our season went pretty good. We did better than everyone expected us to do. We had a pretty good season.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I have already started workouts and have been going hard.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I really want to work on flexibility, mobility, and getting a little bigger.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We should be pretty good. We got 90% of the team coming back. We are only losing four or five seniors. We should be pretty good next year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“I am not sure yet. We’ll probably play St. John’s again, and it will probably be them since they are the defending champs.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Right now, I have two offers from Kentucky and Army. I have a lot of interest from Maryland, Rutgers, Northwestern, Stanford, Pitt, and just a lot of schools really.”
Do you feel anyone else is close to offering?
“I actually do. I feel Maryland is the closest. It is either Maryland or Rutgers.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Kentucky. I talk to them the most because they offered. I talk to one of their coaches at least three or four times a week. I used to talk to Rutgers a lot and I started talked to Stanford a little bit more. Maryland is one I am talking to a little bit.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Basically, the only school that I went to was Maryland because it is down the street. I watched a couple of games.”
Do you have any trips ahead?
“No, but I am planning on scheduling with my father a Virginia Tech junior day in January. Hopefully he says yes and we’ll go down there.”
