How did the high school football season go overall?
“From a team stand, it went well. Although it was another 1-9 season, we did well fostering new relationships and fighting all season long. I believe my team has tremendous potential that is waiting to peak. Individually I had a good season. I was able to show a lot of the skills I developed over the summer; with the biggest one being rushing the passer.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I plan on wrestling the off-season and staying in shape by hitting the gym during the school day every day of the week to lift. Also, during the spring I will be focusing on football 100%, lifting, and conditioning.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“The biggest thing I want to improve is my “get off” the ball on all my not just pass in particular. By doing that, I will work on timing up snaps and being more explosive.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I believe my team will continue to do well in our rebuilding process is going in the right direction and I believe it will continue to do so next season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I do not know our non-conference schedule yet, but I do believe McDonogh will be our toughest competition as much as it pains me to say, being a Gilman student athlete. Nonetheless I think we have to respect their success thus far.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Maryland, Duke Penn State, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, Liberty, Wake Forest, Temple, and Notre Dame at the time of writing this.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Virginia, Maryland, Duke, Wake Forest, Stanford, Temple, and Penn State.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Stanford, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Liberty, and Pittsburgh.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“No.”
