How has the football season been going overall at this point?
“So far, the season has been going pretty well and I’m proud of everything my team and I have accomplished.”
How do you feel about your playoff draw?
“Pretty excited for playoffs to be honest. When people say we’re supposed to lose a game or I know we are going up against a good team, it honestly just gets me fired up. And the way it’s looking right now looks like we’ll be getting some of the better teams and I can’t wait.”
What will allow your team to reach their full potential?
“Our team will reach full potential when everyone just does their job, and we are pretty close to that already. To win, not everyone needs to be a playmaker or score every touchdown. If everyone as an individual just does what they are supposed to do, then we will succeed as a whole.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I’m proud of myself for how I have played this season, but I’m not satisfied. I’ve came a long way from last year and being able to start as a junior is such a blessing after all the hard work I have put into this game all year round. Satisfaction just leads to mediocrity and there’s always room for improvement.”
How do you feel your team has played this fall?
“I’m so proud of the way my team has played this fall. We’ve come a long way and have faced a lot of adversity. It’s just time for us to finish the job and continue this playoff run.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“It’s been a dream of mine to play football in college. I’ve been chasing that dream ever since I was younger and developed that love for the game.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of right now not many schools have been recruiting me or contacting me, but I’m excited for the future and to be given an opportunity.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I haven’t made any college trips yet, but I look forward to and plan to in the spring.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up my favorite college was the University of Michigan. I always looked up to Tom Brady and naturally liked Michigan seeing as he went there.”
