What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been working out at my home even with the pandemic going on, using resistance bands, an agility ladder, tires, and other things.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“My strength, speed, and route running has definitely improved since last season. I’ve also had a growth spurt since last year which helps. I’m 6’4” about 178 now.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I want to have a better football IQ and awareness on the field. After leading my varsity team in tackles my freshman year, I’m looking to be even better my junior year.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel that we’re going to grow as a team after losing our head coach to retirement. The new coach will be getting a great group of players with good work ethic.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I believe that North Point will be our hardest next year.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I think Zach Crounse will be one the toughest players to play against next season. I think he’s a great QB especially for being in the Class of 2022.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to. Right now, I’m still enjoying playing both football and basketball, but I enjoy playing football more as of now.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve received a few camp invites, but most of those have been postponed.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not yet.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“After the pandemic is over, I’m trying to visit a few schools that have caught my attention.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“Most of the camps I wanted to attend were cancelled this summer.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Clemson has always been my favorite college growing up. I’m willing to attend anywhere that would give me the opportunity to be a better player and show my work ethic on the field and in the classroom.”
