What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I've been running a lot to keep myself in shape. I go to nearby tracks to run and keep myself active. At home, I do 500 pushups a day, 250 before PM and 250 after 12pm.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I think I have improved on myself as a student and an athlete. I have always been one who loved the game of football, but as one of the best coaches I had said "You can't spell play without an A". He constantly stays on top of me and the rest of my team to focus on school. And being on top of my work in school gives me more time to practice on my game.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I am trying to improve on my handwork on the defensive line. I want to be able to disengage off of blockers to attack the ball faster.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Covid-19 has factored into my workouts by not allowing me to go to gyms and workout. I would normally be in the weight room before and after school to get stronger and faster, but adversity hits and it allowed me to find other ways to work around the issue.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel my team will do great this season. We have great players and a great coaching staff who loves all of the players no matter what. So, I believe that this upcoming season will be a very productive season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I have not seen the schedule yet, but I know that we will not take any teams for granted. We're not underestimating any team and we will approach every game as if it was our last, no matter who the opponent is.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“We are not focused on one specific player on any team. We play the team and we play accordingly. We are not worried about any specific player.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to play football in college. I love the game of football and I never looked as it was a sport.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have not been recruited by any college yet that I know of.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any trips yet, but I would love to go one to get a feel for college.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I was supposed to go on a college trip, but Covid-19 was spreading fast and caused the trip to be cancelled.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“There are a few Rival camps that I plan to attend this summer.”

“My favorite colleges growing up and still is are the University of Oregon and Alabama.”
