What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been working out and improving my skills with my trainer, Derrick Beasley. The work that he had done has completely changed me as a player and has improved every aspect to my game.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel like I have improved everything. You always have room for improvement, but I feel that my footwork has become faster and my cuts off routes are smoother.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I'm trying to improve my leadership skills. I believe that they are really good, but I feel that if I step it up a notch and so do the other seniors on our team, we can have something special this year and it should be very exciting.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our opponent for the season opener is Rising Sun, I haven't seen a lot of film on them, but soon we should have some, but the talent we have this year is amazing. As long as we all work together as a team, I feel we can beat anyone.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play football in college. It has opened my eyes to a lot of opportunities that can help me in the long run.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had some interest from small school locally, like Salisbury, McDaniel, and some other in PA.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made several from the University of Maryland, Salisbury University, and Bowie State. They were all local and I have an upcoming visit with McDaniel University.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have plans to continue to tour schools until I've made a decision.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I've been to the school camps that I've stated, and they have all gone really well. I've had coaches contact and talk to me in person about my talents.”
