How did the high school football season go overall?
“I think our season went well, even though we didn’t win the championship. We as a team dealt with some key injuries early on. I think we battled against adversity and had young guys step up and ball with us to help us compete at a high level.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I have been in the weight room every day and very soon track starts so I will be running outdoor to get faster for camps and everything.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Personally, the biggest thing I have been working on are my skills at corner. This past year we had crucial injuries causing us to lose our linebacker and our rover which resulted in me having to move to more of a nickleback/strong safety position. I have been working and will continue to work on my skills as a corner.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think our team can and will win the IAC championship. Every one of our underclassmen starters will come back this year bigger, faster, and stronger. We have the best quarterback in Maryland coming back for our senior year. I think we are going to have a great season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I feel like the toughest opponent on the schedule every year is always Georgetown Prep. It’s the last game and every year it’s the championship. It is highly anticipated by both teams.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I most definitely will be playing football at the next level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There have been a couple of schools like ECU, JMU, William & Mary, Towson, Lafayette, Old Dominion, and Temple.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Lafayette has been on me a lot.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been to Wake Forest, William and Mary, and Lafayette all for junior days.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon
“I have planned for Towson, Temple, and ECU.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“As a kid, I played a lot of NCAA on the PS3 and my favorite player was CJ Spiller with Clemson. So, as a kid, my favorite team was Clemson.”
