What were your initial thoughts when the football season was postponed until the spring?
“Like most people, I was very disappointed when the season was postponed, but I put my disappointment to the side and used it as an opportunity to get better for the spring season.”
What are your workout plans at this point going forward?
“Right now, my workout routine is constant, meaning I work out every day. On Saturdays, at 3, I'm at Blair high school working out with my team. Friday, I'm in my garage and backyard working out by myself.”
What are you trying to improve on the most at this point?
“The most critical point that I am trying to improve on right now is using my hands to get off of a pass block.”
How do you believe your high school team will be for this upcoming season?
“I believe my team will be great and dominate in any and all of the opportunities we are given to play. We now have a very talented QB and a very strong receiving corps as well as a diversified RB corp. Our defense will be a scary sight to see, especially our D-line.”
What areas do you feel will be keys to having a successful run during the season?
“The most important areas that will be key in order for us to have a successful football season is three things: accountability, leadership, and doing your part.”
What sport do you want to play at the college level?
“I would love to play football at the college level, but I am always open to the idea of lacrosse as well, but mainly football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had interest from Stevenson University, but not really anything too serious so far. I am grinding day in and day out in hope that a coach will see my potential and give me an opportunity. I'm just trusting in God throughout the whole process.”
Have any colleges offered you?
“No, I haven't received any offers yet, but God is good so who knows.”
What colleges are you trying to visit this fall?
“This fall, I want to try to visit Stevenson, UMD, Liberty, and Harvard if possible.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was Harvard because I've always wanted to be a lawyer even to this day I still do, and Harvard has a great football program as well as the best law education in my opinion.”
