How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall it was okay. I definitely learned a lot, but I feel I wasn’t really given the best opportunity to play varsity football.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My main plan is just to get better. I’m getting stronger in the weight room and will develop my skills and mental with reps and watching film.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“For me, I just want to improve my ability to stay in the pocket longer and read defenses better. Also, I want to become a better passer overall.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Honestly, I feel our success all relies on our effort. We have some returning talent, but the majority of our team is either new to the program or coming up from JV. We have enough talent to dominate our schedule, but it’s up to us if u want to do that.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“That’s a very hard question. We have four big games this season with Paint Branch, Sherwood, Watkins Mill, and Damascus. Truthfully, I feel we are going to have to fight for every game we get. I honestly don’t feel we have the right to go into the season saying this team is better than that team when as a whole team we are a little inexperienced.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I definitely want to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Sadly no, but hopefully I’ll get some looks by the end of this upcoming season.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, but it’s something I’m trying to look into.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite school was Oregon forever, but they have really fallen off in the past couple year. I have come to love Texas and just the way they play.”
