How did the high school football season go overall?
“It went pretty well. As a rising sophomore, I had an opportunity to start at WR and play some DB, so it was a lot of fun. Our overall record was 7-3, but I expected a better finish.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I just finished basketball season. My freshmen year, I also played baseball but decided to stop and focus on speed and agility training to get faster for next year. I am currently working out with DSP and playing 7 on 7 with Charm City Elite.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Speed, strength, and weight.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We lost a lot of seniors but had a great incoming class and so I think we will be hard to beat. I think we will be better than 7-3.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“We have a very tough schedule as the MIAA is loaded and we have Bullis and Bishop Moore out of Florida, but I think based on the way we beat MSJ with a 4th quarter comeback last year, this year they will be gunning for us.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, it is a goal for me. I love football, basketball, and baseball, but football is my passion.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have visited a couple of schools like Temple, UMD, and Pitt. Also, JMU has inquired. I believe my upcoming junior year things will really open up for me by God’s will.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“So far, I have made trips to UMD, Temple, and Pitt.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I have plans to visit about five more schools this spring.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Maryland because it was the hometown school.”
